中文摘要:近年来,随着英语的广泛传播和应用,我国对英语教育尤其是小学英语教育的重视日益提高,越来越多的教学方法被相继引入到小学英语课堂当中。在小学阶段,学生对周围的事物具有强烈的好奇心,但又存在注意力不持久等问题,因此高效的小学英语课堂必须具备浓厚的趣味性,而故事教学法正好适应了这一需要。故事是儿童成长过程中不可缺少的一部分,它有生动的情节、丰富的情感,同时也蕴含着一定语言知识。故事不仅能吸引学生进入学习情境,同时也符合学生以形象思维为主的心理特点和学生学习语言的认知特点。本文在探讨故事教学法的具体原理的基础上,提出了故事教学法在课堂中的具体操作过程,使教师能够在节省教学时间、培养学生学习英语的兴趣的同时,提高小学英语课堂教学的效率。
