中文摘要:21世纪的中国基础英语教育重视提倡的英语学科的核心素养,其中最核心的是培养学生的思维品质。语言与思维相互作用证明学习英语对培养思维品质有很大的优势。
有关培养学生思维品质的教学方法,国内外的研究很多。但大多数是围绕思维品质的五个特性——即灵活性、敏捷性、深刻性、批判性和独创性展开探索。鉴于当下流行的绘本阅读,故事教学借助大量生动有趣的配图、性格鲜明的人物形象和简洁易懂的描述,有利于培养学生的思维品质。
本研究基于多元智能和认知发展的理论基础,对绘本和思维品质进行深度剖析,积极探索故事教学中如何提高学生思维的教学策略。例如,借助绘本丰富的图画带给学生的视觉冲击和精心设计的问题探究活动,激发学生的思维活跃。在课后增加拓展性的活动,如手工绘画书——制定专属的绘本故事,培养学生的动手能力和创造能力,推动认知的发展。希望英语绘本阅读更加普及,真正融入到学校日常的教学中来,成为小学英语阅读教学中优质有效的辅助性课堂资源。
