中文摘要:新课程标准要求课堂教学要面向全体学生,要以学生为主体,尊重个体差异,力求为每个学生的充分发展创造条件,为学生的终身学习打下基础。那么在小学英语教学中如何做到这一点,每个学生在英语学习上所表现的兴趣、天分和能力以及学习方法都是不同的,他们对英语的需求也是不同的。而英语教学的关键在于面向全体学生,使不同的学生在不同层次上保持学习英语的积极性,并在各自的基础上发挥特长,使个性的发展和交际能力的提高得到和谐的统一。这就要求教师要关注学生的个体差异,挖掘他们的潜能,做到因材施教、分层学习,使每位学生都能得到不同程度的发展。本文对现在小学英语课堂的现状、存在问题进行了分析, 并根据现情况对因材施教在小学英语教学中的运用提了建议。
