尤其是素质教育的推行,使得学校和老师越发重视英语口语的教学,为了给学生们营造良好的口语学习氛围,达到更好的教学效果,在学生英语水平达到一定程度后,很多教师会在课堂上采用双语教学。然而,由于低龄儿童认知水平的限制,教学内容的单一无趣或过难,会导致学生往往在课堂上无法集中精神,预期的教学效果无法达到。
对于低龄的孩子来说,学好英语的关键之一就是提高孩子们英语学习的兴趣。想要让孩子对英语感兴趣,最普遍、最有效的方式就是在教学中引入歌谣或歌曲。马克思说:“音乐是人类第二语言。”歌曲及歌谣因其词句简单、内容生动、形式活泼、韵律优美等特点深受孩子们的喜爱。在教学中,教师利用富有特色的英语歌谣或歌曲来教学,能给孩子们营造一个活泼愉快、宽松和谐的语言氛围,以歌促学、寓教于乐,这可以使我们的教学收到更佳的效果。
