中文摘要:随着中国新课程改革的步伐,中国英语基础教育的不断发展,提高小学英语课堂的教学效率势在必行。因此,教学方法不断创新,故事教学便是一种新创英语教学法,它对于语言学习有着不可忽略的作用。而如今,在许多小学英语课堂中,通过故事教学来培养学生的思维能力往往容易被忽视。为了响应新课改的要求,英语教师应想方设法吸引学生的注意力,调动学生学习的积极性。经过证实,故事教学法是一种非常有效地教学方法,受到了广大英语教师的推崇与认可。本篇文章主要对故事教学在小学英语中的应用进行分析、总结原则和方法,旨在让每一位小学生都能感受到学习英语的乐趣,提升每一位小学生的英语学习能力,并使小学生能够对英语学习产生浓厚的学习兴趣。

Abstract:As China’s English elementary education develops under the promotion of new curriculum reform, it is imperative to improve the teaching efficiency of primary English classes. Therefore, with teaching methodology innovated continuously, story-based approach, as a newly invented English teaching method, has come to reality, which should have a significant effect on language learning. Nowadays, in many primary English classes, it is easily neglected to cultivate students’ thinking abilities by means of story-based approach. Responding to the requirements of new curriculum reform, English teachers are supposed to try all means to attract students’ attentions as well as stimulate their learning initiatives. At present, story-based approach has been proved to be a highly effective teaching method, which is accepted and praised by all English teachers. Upon the application of story-based approach in primary English, this paper mainly analyzes and summarizes the specific principles and methods, aiming at enabling every single student to enjoy learning English, as well as arousing their interests in English learning so as to improve their English learning capability.
