摘要：在中国，大学城建设是20世纪90年代继高校合并、高校扩招之后高教领域的又一大手笔。近年来,各地政府兴建“大学城”的热潮方兴未艾。大学城这一新生物的迅猛发展有于利于扩大高等教育供给，提高办学质量，促进就业，促进经济发展，推进城市化进程。鉴于大学城的众多优点和巨大影响，本文通过实证调查，具体分析了大学城对周边就业的影响，并提出了促进就业的相关建议。
