摘要:随着我国对外交往的日益频繁，来自英语的外来词日益增多。外来词，也就是借词，是指在语言接触过程中，一种语言从另一种语言中借用的词语。汉语中的英语外来词是中国和西方世界国家经济、政治、文化交流的必然产物。尤其是在中国进行改革开放的新时期后，中外文化的多层次、多渠道的交流为词语的借用提供了很多种条件。因此，我们可以从外来词中窥见文化交流的方方面面，并通过词语借用方式来发掘沉积在一个民族心理结构中的深层内蕴。本文通过分析汉语中英语外来词的现象，依据词汇学中英语外来词的相关知识、文化接触、社会语言学和语言使用者的语用心理等观点，阐述英语外来词产生的原因、外来词的特点、外来词流行的理据，旨在去归纳英语外来词的汉译方法，从而展望英语外来词未来的发展趋势以及前景规划，使英语外来词在充实汉语，服务于汉语方面发挥更大的作用。
