Abstract
Primary school is the initial stage of learning English of students’ life. However, in some rural primary schools, students do not have advanced teaching equipment and enough teaching resources. This lead to students cannot master and use the language knowledge. Armed with the circumstance, the rural teachers find that the Situational Teaching Method can improve the efficiency of English class. The fact is proved that the Situational Teaching Method is quite suitable and effective, especially for the rural students.
