Abstract
This paper mainly discusses the application of reflective teaching method to primary school English teaching. First, the paper introduces the concept of reflective teaching and the research status; then it does analysis of the relevant theoretical basis and lists some specific steps to apply the reflective teaching method; and afterwards it put forwards the problems occurring in the current primary school English classroom teaching and gives the corresponding suggestions. By applying the method, teachers can timely adjust the teaching design, improve teaching methods and enrich the teaching contents according to the actual situation, which is also consistent with the development needs of students. Students will be more actively involved in learning language and the teaching quality will be greatly improved.
