Abstract
This paper intends to provide some research from the following aspects. Firstly,it elaborates on the definition, the positive roles and the advantages of the game-based teaching. Also, the cognitive and psychological features of children are mentioned. Then it introduces the game-based teaching model from two aspects: the strategies of game-based primary English teaching and the influential factors of games. Finally, this paper concludes with the significance of the game-based teaching in the primary English teaching.
