Abstract
This paper intends to tap into the current situation of primary school students’ interest in English learning. First, it analyzes the differences in learning interests from the angle of gender and grade. Next, it elaborates some problems in English learning. Then, in order to stimulated students' interest in learning English, the paper makes an analysis of the roles from teachers, parents and students themselves. Finally, it gives advice on how to arouse and improve students’ interest in English learning.
