Abstract
The research content of this thesis is to learn about the current situation of English teaching in rural area primary schools, then summarize the pros and cons and come up with solutions. I will research some actual situations based on HengJing Experimental Primary School of GaoYou. Then I will summarize the pros and cons and try to develop solutions. In addition, I want to figure out appropriate teaching methods for students in order to refine education system. I want to achieve the target of new curriculum standard requirements of learner-centered and the overall development of the comprehensive skills on the students' language learning.
