Abstract: Under the theoretical basis that emotion interacts with cognitive activities, researchers have put forward SLTM. SLTM sticks to the student-centered principle, chooses teaching materials from real communicative environment and emphasizes the cultivation of students’ interest in learning. This teaching method also emphasizes the integration of different language skills of English and training through activities. The paper will introduce this teaching method through its characteristics, requirements and analyze the current situations in English teaching of high schools in China, and then put forward some problems and solutions that need to be considered in the application of SLTM in China.

摘要:根据情感和认知活动相互作用的原理,学者们提出了英语教学中的情景教学法。情景教学法以学生为中心,选用来自真实语境的教学材料,注重调动学生的学习兴趣,强调对学生英语综合能力的培养。本文通过对该教学法特点的介绍,探讨了实施该教学法应具备的条件,并就目前的高中英语教学现状进行了分析,在此基础上,提出了在我国实施情景教学法应注意的几个方面。
