Abstract: Among all the teaching approaches, Communicative Approach and Task-based Approach are quiet popular. The former considers teaching as a communicative process and lays emphasis on enhancing students’ communicative competence in real situations. However, the latter advocates promoting language acquisition during the process of fulfilling tasks. This paper intends to make a contrastive analysis of the two approaches, both theoretically and practically. It also aims at giving some suggestions on the usage of the two approaches in China.

摘要:交际教学法与任务型教学法都是当今被广泛运用于语言教学的教学法。这两种教学法都体现了较为先进的教学理念,既有相同点,也有差异性。交际教学法强调的是自在真实语境下培养学生的交际能力;而任务型教学法则注重通过执行任务来培养学生运用语言的能力。本文通过在理论和实践操作方面的对比,更清晰地阐释这两种教学法,并对我国英语教学提出一些建议。
