Abstract

 

Teachers have been in the lame light ever since the teaching silent violence became a heated topic among the public and experts. Howbeit,with the development of mobile phone age,it has to be noticed that teachers are gradually falling victims to silent violence from their students.To date,there have been some studies on silent violence in teaching.However, research on teachers being the victims to silent violence is scarce.For the very reason,this essay attempts to disclose the new and more concrete connotation of “silent violence” in the fresh climate,which can enable the readers have a deeper and better understanding that students,as the sufferers of silent violence,are now performing silent violence against their teachers.Silent violence is much more obvious among university teachers and students.Reasons and corresponding measures will be looked into so as to have teachers and students fully prepared for answering to silent violence. Finally,this is a probing research, and it has to be admitted that this paper is based on observation and former researches, more data needs to be collected and analysis need to be carried out in further researches as genders,career stages and others factors are concerned.
