中文摘要：随着科学技术的迅速发展，英语在全世界变得越来越受欢迎，在中国更是如此。因此，提高当今大学生的英语自主学习能力显得尤为重要。近30年来，语言教育界对自主学习也越来越重视。在过去的数十年，尽管自主学习在外语教学领域已经得到了足够的重视，但提高大学生英语自主学习意识仍然很难。诸多影响因素的存在使其变得复杂艰难。学习者的自主学习受到学习者自身的学习动机、学习策略与风格、自我监控等内部因素以及教师、学习材料和学习环境等外部因素的影响，并且它们产生的影响不是孤立的，一种因素往往和其他因素相关。对于不同语言学习水平的学习者来说，它们相互影响又有所不同。为了使大学生能更好的学习英语，了解自主学习的重要性，本论文应运而生。该论文主要描述了自主学习的定义及其重要性和现状，介绍了影响自主学习的因素以及提高自主学习的方法，我衷心希望该研究能对培养与提升大学生英语自主学习能力有所帮助。
