摘要:辩论作为实践环节对于高校大学生能力的培养至关重要,因而逐渐受到高校的认可与推广。而其中的英文辩论则更是随着英语学习在世界范围内的发展,得以迅速推广,其有效性及启发性也逐渐与高校语言教学的目标契合,并且近些年发展迅速。在所有的辩论赛制中,英国议会制辩论是全世界范围内使用最广泛的辩论规则,也是目前国内高校的英文辩论的规定赛制。由于赛制要求即时辩论,因此在规定的时间内,辩论者需要通过分析辩题明晰问题理解框架,用批判性的思维去权衡利弊,找出最适合的解决方案,并且组织语言进行演讲,完成自己的角色要求,并说服观众。这对英语语言能力及思维逻辑的培养要求之高不言而喻。
但在辩论赛中也着实暴露了学生们能力方面的不足,比如语言的表达不够流畅,词不达意或者思维逻辑不严谨,论证不充分等问题。本文计划从研究阻碍英语专业的语言及思维能力发展的障碍入手,结合前人研究,通过调查问卷的方法进行调研,找出问题所在,并且分析现状、采访辩手,针对所出现的问题进行具体分析,给出切实可行的教与学的建议。
