《化挫折为美金》研究了如何在经济困难时期如何生存，并且告诉我们当职业发展到一个新的数量级的时候，何为经济挫折。是一部成功的励志书籍。本次翻译实践节选书中的第二、三、四章节“别欣然参与或怜悯”、“不要让你的骄傲毒害你的繁荣”“不要停止思考和梦想明天的可能性”进行翻译。
-翻译所选其中的三个章节，全面地向读者们展示了在经济萧条时期我们该如何面对，并且讲述了几个具体的方案和行动步骤。全篇使用了叙述的手法，采取大量的例子举证展示了积极思考的力量。
-第一部分为不愿意参与或者同情别人，内容包括切莫陷入到厄运、忧郁和负面思想中，作者从现实生活角度告诉我们应该独立自主，坚持己见，不要随大流。勇敢的迎接生活的挑战和朝着目标和梦想迈进。
-第二部分为不要让你的骄傲毒害你的繁荣。这部分主要介绍了骄傲会带来的一系列危害，比如自负，使你不愿意尝试新思想。同时也谈到了骄傲也会让我们拥有自尊和自信。
第三部分为不要停止思考和梦想明天的可能性。未来是属于那些相信梦想之美的人。当我们遭遇困难和挫折时，我们需要抬头思考，重新换一个角度，这样我们才可以认识新的可能性。

INTRODUCTION
Turn setbacks into greenbacks is a book which studies on how to survive in economic recession times, and tell us when a career develops a new level of magnitude, what is the economic setback. It is a successful inspirational book. This translation practice are excerpts from the second, three, and four chapters “Don’t Willingly Participate or Commiserate”，“Don’t Let Your Pride Poison Your Prosperity”，“Don’t Stop Thinking and Dreaming about the Power and Possibilities of Tomorrow”.
The three chapters of the translation show the reader how to deal with the recession and describe several specific programs and action steps. The whole text uses narrative techniques, takes a lot of examples to prove the power of positive thinking.
The first part is “Don’t Willingly Participate or Commiserate,” including not buy into bad luck, melancholy and negative thoughts. The author tells us to be independent, insistent and don't follow the crowd from the angle of real life. To meet life's challenges and pursue your dreams bravely..
The second part is” Don’t Let Your Pride Poison Your Prosperity.” This part mainly introduces a series of hazards, such as self-pride, so that you don't want to try new ideas. At the same time it also talks about the pride that makes us self-confident and self-respect.
The third part is “never stop thinking and the dream of tomorrow”. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams. When we encounter difficulties and setbacks, we need to look up thinking, to think from another angle, so that we can understand the new possibilities.
My paper mainly summarizes the translation of the general content, and analyzes the problems and difficulties and solvable methods. Besides, I learn and conclude a lot for translation practice. The last is about translation theory and technique.
