Abstract:Since the implementation of the new curriculum standard, homework is not only a part of teaching, but also meaningful for students’ life. So homework has become students’ growth resume.
Based on constructivism’s questionnaire, a survey involving 180 students and 8 teachers from Nanjing Foreign Language School Xianlin Campus, the School attached to Nanjing Normal University and No.13 middle school is carried out. The following is a summary of the research findings:
Just like copying, translation and reciting still exist in students’ homework. However, homework has the tendency to be diversified.
We can find students like interesting homework such as role play, watching English programs. They want to cooperate with others. If the homework has some difficulty, they may have more interest.
Students have some suggestions to teachers’ checking way and parents.
This paper argues that:
Teachers should control the amount of homework and make it more flexible. The homework should be more varied.
Homework can also form variety of channels. It is helpful to provide more chances to know our students and promote the relationship between students and teachers.
Parents should keep in touch with teachers in order to be aware of homework.

摘要:新课程标准实施以来,作业已不再完全是课堂教学的附属,而更是重建与提升课程意义及人生意义的重要内容。作业已成为学生成长的履历。
本文在建构主义的指导下设计问卷,对南京师范大学附属实验中学、南京外国语学校仙林分校、南京市第十三中学的六个班级180名学生进行了问卷调查,对高中英语家庭作业数量、时间、类型、评价、教师作用、作业与考试成绩的关系等方面进行调查,同时还对三所学校的8名老师进行教师访谈。以下是调查的主要发现:
在新课程标准实施以来,虽然发现,抄写、造句、背诵、翻译等作业依然存在,但是家庭作业已经呈现多样化。
观看英语节目、阅读课外书籍、进行英文短剧的排演等趣味性强,合作性高的创新式作业深受学生的喜爱。
学生对教师批改作业的方式、以及家长对作业的参与程度有一定的建议。
基于以上发现,本文认为:一、老师在留家庭作业时用心设计,思考,围绕训练重点留作业,作业形式要力求多样化,避免重复的作业出现,控制作业量。二、家庭作业可以形成良好的多种交流途径,教师可以利用家庭作业多方交流的机会可以促进学生之间,师生之间的感情。三、家长应与老师保持联系,了解家庭作业的数量,以及孩子所交作业的质量。
