Abstract:During the recent decades, with the development of computer technology, the emergence of abundant corpora resources and advanced search softwares provides a new method to study corpus linguistics and language teaching. The use of corpus linguistics is very wide, including syntactic and lexical analysis, compiling dictionaries and reference books, foreign language teaching, machine translation, text proofreading and so on. With the development of corpora, many researchers begin to try to apply corpora into translation studies and translation teaching, which provides a new method and a new idea for modern translation teaching. After analyzing the definition and classification of corpora, and the disadvantages of traditional teaching method as well as the advantages of corpus-based translation teaching method, this essay proposes the hypothesis that corpus-based translation teaching method is superior to traditional teaching method. At the same time, a comparative experiment is carried to demonstrate it, where students are divided into two groups: the control group and the experimental group. Traditional teaching method is used in the control group while corpus-based translation teaching method is used in the experimental group. Besides, the scores of class exercises and the final translation test are used as a reference to evaluate the two methods. In the meanwhile, this essay admits some limitations of the experiment in the hope of establishing a wider range of experiment that also lasts longer to give evidence of the hypothesis.

摘要:近年来,计算机技术的进步,丰富的语料库资源以及先进的检索软件的出现,为语料库语言学研究和语言教学开辟了新方向。语料库语言学的应用非常广泛,包括句法词法分析,编纂词典和参考书籍、外语教学、机器翻译及文本校对等等。随着语料库的发展,很多研究者也开始尝试将它融入翻译研究中并应用于翻译教学,为现代翻译教学提供了新方法和新思路。在分析语料库的定义、分类以及传统翻译教学的不足和基于语料库的翻译教学的优势后,这篇论文提出基于语料库的翻译教学法优于传统翻译教学法的猜想并通过对比实验法来进行论证。在实验中,学生们被分为控制组与实验组:在控制组使用传统教学法,而在实验组使用基于语料库的翻译教学法。此外,随堂测验和最终测验的成绩作为检验两种方法有效性的依据。同时,本文认为该对比实验有一些局限性,希望可以进行范围更广、历时更久的对照实验来验证猜想。
