Abstract:After it came into being in 1960s, error analysis is indeed a sub-branch of applied linguistics and plays a vital role in English language teaching and learning. Based on the theory of error analysis, this paper briefly analyses the main causes of learners’ errors, attitudes towards learners’ errors, procedure of error analysis, and correction of learners’ errors. In this paper teachers are encouraged to develop a positive attitude towards learners’ errors for the purpose of more efficient teaching and creating ideal teaching environment through error analysis and error correction.

摘 要:作为应用语言学的一个副分支的错误分析诞生于20世纪60年代。错误分析并在英语语言教学和学习中具有重要的地位。基于错误分析理论,本文就错误产生的原因,对待错误的态度,错误分析的步骤以及错误的纠正展开了一系列的讨论,并鼓励老师用积极的态度来看待错误以及通过错误分析和错误改正最终探求更高效的教学和创造理想的教学环境。
