Abstract:This article discusses the methods for teaching the past tense in the junior middle school. In the grammar teaching in middle school, past tense is not an easy item.
Through my short period of practice teaching I strongly feel the simple past tense is a main point of English teaching in the junior middle school. Teachers find that this grammar item is not so easy for the students to learn it well. To some extent, the students’ competence in this aspect is quite poor, which is evidently shown in their activities in the four basic skills---- listening, speaking, reading and writing. So it is worthwhile for teachers to deal with it more scientifically and effectively.

摘要:本文主要讨论一般过去时在初中的教学方法,在初中的语法教学过程中,过去时的学习是一个难点。
通过自己六周的初中实习教学,我深刻的认识到一般过去时在初中英语教学过程中是一个教学重点。老师发现这个语法项目学生学习得并不是很轻松,由于一些局限性,学生在这方面的能力很差,这是由他们听、说、读、写四个方面所表现出来的。因此,教师应该找出一些更科学并有效的方法来教一般过去时态。
