Abstract：This paper focuses on the communicative teaching approach and the application of communicative approach in grammar teaching, then points out that communication is the central part of language teaching. Teaching is a kind of communication. The author gives the definition of communicative language teaching, and introduces methods to use communicative approach in junior English grammar teaching. Transformation of the teachers’ role is also introduced. Chinese English teachers should be equipped with better professional skills and language proficiency. They are key problems to be solved in communicative grammar teaching.

中文摘要：本文以交际教学法为中心,讨论了交际法在初中英语语法教学中的应用。交际是语言教学的核心, 教学是一种交际活动。在文中, 作者给出了交际语言教学的定义, 介绍了在中学语法教学中如何使用交际法的一些方法, 以及教师的角色的转变。指出我国英语教师应该具备良好的职业技能和熟练运用语言的能力, 这是在交际语法教学中亟待解决的问题。
