Abstract
In middle school English class, questioning plays a vital role as it is an important source of language input as well as a contributing factor of their language output. Realizing what is class questioning and how to question effectively becomes a crucial issue for English teachers. To have a deep insight into these questions, this paper reviews former researches on class questioning and effective questioning. The author also do experiments to collects data for analyzing the classification and distribution of class questioning, Based on the research , the author hopes to give some possible suggestions about effective questioning in English class.
