Abstract:Errors have been given much attention in the study of second language or foreign language acquisition. But very little attention is given on students’ oral errors in some middle schools in China. This research was on error and error correction of the third year of the teachers and students in No.3 Junior High School in Tengchong. The data was collected through using of questionnaires, interviews and classroom observation. The results showed that the students and the teachers had some different opinions on errors and error corrections. Students’ main errors were phonological, grammatical, lexical and comprehensible errors. There was a gap between the teachers’ beliefs and their teaching. Most of the English classes lacked authentic oral activities.

摘要:语言中的错误普遍在第二语言和外语习得的研究中受到重视。但在中国的一些中学里,学生在口语活动中的错误很少被重视。本文通过问卷调查、访谈及课堂观察对腾冲县第三中学初三年级两个班的同学及教师就口语活动中的错误和错误纠正进行研究,从结果分析来看,学生和老师对口语错误纠正上存在一些差异。学生的口语错误主要在语音、语法、词汇和理解方面。教师的信念与其教学实践存在差异。大多数的英语课堂缺乏真实的口语活动。
