Abstract:English writing, as a very important aspect of students’ general language competence and as a means of spreading knowledge and information, is necessary and essential for students who learn English. However, it is true that writing, as one of the basic skills of language learning, still seems inferior to the skills of listening, speaking, reading and translating. Students often make errors, especially vocabulary errors in their writing. Thus, in the paper, though testing, the researcher uses Error Analysis Theory to analyze the common vocabulary errors in the second year students’ English writing in Yong Sheng No.4 Senior High School, and explains the reasons. At last, the paper also gives some suggestions about how to avoid these vocabulary errors.

摘要:英语写作是考查学生语言能力的一个方面,同时也是传播知识和信息的手段,是学生在英语学习中必须要掌握的。然而,事实上,作为基本技能之一的写作似乎要次于听说读和译的技能。并且在写作中学生常常犯错误,尤其是词汇错误。因此,本文作者通过测试法,运用错误分析理论对永胜四中高二年级学生常犯的词汇错误进行分类分析,并解释了所犯错误的原因。文章最后还提出了一些关于如何避免这些错误发生的建议。
