Abstract: The paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the application of Multi-media in Middle School English teaching by employing the social-cultural theory and constructivism from the perspective of educational psychology. The author also discusses the problems that exist in the application of multi-media in Middle School. Finally, the author puts forward her own suggestions concerning how to employ multi-media correctly in Middle School English Teaching.
