Abstract:With the development of the society, English as a communication tool is becoming more and more important. People attach importance to English learning. In middle schools, English as an important subject aims at improving the English communicative ability of students. But, the communicative goals of English learning are not implemented completely. The traditional teaching mode of teacher-centeredness is used in present English classes; the teachers pay more attention to the English marks of the students in English exams but neglect to arrange communicative activities to develop the students’ communicative ability. Therefore, the teachers and the students should change their roles in English classes. The teachers, as the designers of the English teaching, should widely use the communicative activities to make the class lively and interesting to improve the students’ communicative ability and English level. This thesis mainly analyzes the factors that affect the development of communicative activities in EFL classrooms in middle schools and find the methods to solve the problems.

摘要:随着社会的发展,英语作为一种交流工具变得越来越重要,英语学习也越来越受到人们的重视。中学里,英语作为一门重要学科旨在提高学生的英语交际能力。可是,英语学习的交际目标得不到很好落实。目前的英语课堂中,大多采用教师为主体的传统教学模式,教师的教学侧重于提高学生的英语考试成绩而忽略了穿插交际活动来培养学生的交际能力。所以,教师和学生都应该转变传统教学中的角色,教师作为教学活动的设计者应该广泛使用课堂交际活动使课堂生动有趣来提高学生学习英语的积极性以达到提高学生的交际能力和英语水平的目的。我的文章关键在于分析影响课堂交际活动广泛开展的原因并且找寻解决问题的方法。
