Abstract: In our country, English teaching only focuses on written ability. This has led to dumb English, which means students’ poor performance in spoken English. The advantages of Flipped-Classroom mode overweigh that of traditional teaching mode. By the theoretical research of the current situation of spoken English teaching and the connotation of flipped classroom, and the questionnaires research of students’ and teachers’ reactions of flipped classroom, the result shows that the effect of flipped classroom on the whole is good, but the higher implementing conditions lead to a lower utilization rate in the English teaching in China. This result is helpful to improve the level of the spoken English teaching in middle schools in China.
