Abstract
With the development of society, people are more and more concerned about how to improve teacher-student relationships. In the traditional teaching mode, teachers often ask students what they can do and what they can not do. Students have no opportunities to show their own opinions and ideas. Therefore, the dissertation will be discussed to how to improve teacher-student relationships from some aspects. To begin with, teachers ought to respect students’ character, students’ individual differences and thinking mode. Every student has his own personality. Teachers learn to be good at finding their own sparkle. At the same time, teachers learn to accept students’ advantages and disadvantages. Adolescent students have their own thinking mode. So teachers should understand and trust them. What’s more, more attention are paid to students. When students lose confidence, teachers help them build up courage and cope with difficulty. Positive evaluation also helps students stimulate learning interest. Meanwhile, teachers create an equal relationship with students. Then, teachers’ comprehensive qualities play a significant role in reinforcing teacher-student relationships. Therefore, teachers need to possess noble virtue, creative thinking and professional knowledge. Last, as students, they set up the correct view of teachers. They have right attitude towards teachers’ teaching, advice and mistakes in study and life. Harmonious teacher-student relationships can remove the obstacles in the communication and establish strong friendship. Reinforcement of teacher-student relationships can improve teachers’ teaching enthusiasm, stimulate students’ interest in learning.
