Abstract: In recent years, Autonomous Learning has become a hot topic in the field of foreign Language teaching. Many universities have put autonomous learning into practice, and, more and more relevant researches have been conducted. However, most of the researches on the Autonomous Learning modes are mainly focused on college students with little attention to senior high middle school students. Based on the theory of learning autonomy, through the questionnaire on English Autonomous Learning in senior high school, the author found the exsiting problems in students’ Autonomous Learning in Senior Middle School, and put forward corresponding strategies in order to improve English teaching and students’ autonomous learning ability.
The paper consists of five parts:
Part One: It gives a brief introduction of the background and the significance of the present study.
Part Two: It presents the introduction of the concept of autonomous learning, the theoretical basis for the study, characters of autonomous learning, and finally the literature review.
Part Three: Through a questionnaire survey, the domestic senior high school students' English learning situation and the existing problems were analyzed.
Part Four: Through the analysis of the domestic high school students' English learning situation, a conclusion was drawn.
Part Five: It presents the main findings and the prospects for the future.

摘要:近年来,“自主学习”成为外语教学领域中的一个热门话题。很多学校试行自主学习,研究领域也出现了越来越多的相关研究。但学者们对自主学习模式的研究大多是有关于大学生的自主学习模式,对高中生自主学习模式的研究较少。本研究在自主学习理论的指导下,通过调查问卷的形式对普通高中英语自主学习教学中的现状进行了调查,发现在高中学生英语自主学习中存在的问题,并有针对性地提出了改进高中英语课堂教学的方法和促进学生英语自主学习能力和提升学习策略。
论文主要分为五章:
第一章:介绍了自主学习的概念,自主学习理论提出的背景以及自主学习模式的国内外研究现状。
第二章:文献综述和了解自主含义的特征。
第三章:高中生英语自主学习能力的问卷调查。
第四章:通过问卷调查了解国内高中学生英语学习的现状及存在的问题,并且得出结论和分析。
第五章:主要发现和对未来的展望。
