中文摘要：语言和文化有着密切的联系。学习外语不仅是学习语言本身，也是理解和欣赏不同的语言的过程。在传统的大学英语教学中，人们对语言知识的重视程度较高，而忽视了语言的文化背景，导致了人们对语言的误解。而近年来，人们更多地注意到了跨文化交际的重要性。此外，越来越多的跨文化交际能力理论被引入中国，我国的大学英语教学也开始重视跨文化交际能力的培养，但效果并不理想。

本文主要阐述了培养学生跨文化交际能力在英语教学中的重要性，以及如何培养学生跨文化交际能力。在广东第二师范学院，作为非英语专业的学生，他们只学了一年的英语，学的时间上远不如英语专业的学生，更别说花在培养跨文化交际能力的时间了。研究表明，广东第二师范学院的大学英语教学中学生跨文化交际能力的培养是远远不够的。
