Abstract
In China, Eileen Chang is one of the few writers who can skillfully use Chinese and English to write and translate. And among her works, The Golden Cangue is the most successful. The study on the translation strategies of domestication and foreignization will make her translation perfect. This paper will deeply analyze The Golden Cangue on linguistic level and cultural level from the perspective of domestication and foreignization. Finally, the author of this paper reaches a conclusion that Eileen Chang should be mainly foreignizated with the assistance of domestication.
