Abstract
Animal Farm has a nearly unrivaled position among the modern novels, and its penetrating characterization and incisive analysis can be thought-provoking. From the practical significance of Animal Farm, this paper discusses the content and spirit of the book, trying to point out that this work has great practical significance which could help readers better understand some of the social phenomenon nowadays. These paper, in the framework of the theory of comparative method, will cite numerous examples to analyzes some phenomena in Animal Farm and summarizes some problems in today's world, and the analysis leads to the possible reasons for these problems. Finally, the paper proposes some appropriate and practical methods in order to observe the trend of the global situation more clearly.
