Abstract
Jane Eyre is written by Charlotte Bronte, the famous English critical and realist novelist . She is one of the representatives of female literature in 19th English Literature. In Jane Eyre, Charlotte reveals the depressions and misfortunes of women and tries to change the status quo of women in the patriarchal society from the perspective of women. Charlotte gives Jane Eyre some excellent characteristics, making her a new and important female image in the history of literature. This thesis analyzes the experience of Charlotte Bronte and researches the plot of Jane Eyre. More importantly, feminism, the main idea, can be showed between the lines.
