Abstract
The history of translation is almost as old as the history of human language and in the impact of human interaction of each national culture; translation has played a significant role irreplaceable. However, it is not until the late 1960s and 1970s that translation has been attached much attention. Some very well-known contemporary scholars stressed the importance of the relationship between translation studies and history, culture, social development which makes translation studies exceed the traditional pattern of text criticism. The rapid development of modern translation research has made itself a comparatively independent subject.
