Abstract
Different thinking patterns have lots of influence on translation process. In order to know the nature of translation, it’s necessary to study the process of the translation. Analyzing the process of translation and different of thinking patterns between English and Chinese translators; we should make a comparative study of the two languages: article styles, language structures, semantic systems and cultural-histories. Only in this way can we overcome the negative thinking interference in the process of translation. Translator’s whole process of thinking is the nature of translation. The way of thinking determines the characteristics of the language expression. Therefore, the differences between English and Chinese, to some extent, can reflect the different thinking patterns. Translation is not only the conversion process of language, but also the conversion of thinking patterns. This paper focuses on how different thinking patterns between Chinese and English influence translation.
