Abstract
This paper focuses on the main characters' love tragedy in Wuthering Heights written by the British authoress Emily Bronte. It analyses the reasons why the love tragedy happened. Is it the result of cruel oppression and social reality? Or are the twisted characters of figures destined to this love tragedy? Or does the writer's emotional guidance lead to the tragedy of the characters? From the detailed analysis, we can understand deeply about the story and know the female writer's living background and experience.
