Abstract
My paper will give a brief introduction of the importance and the history of the English news. The first part will introduce the definition of news, the genres of news, and the function of news. Then, the paper will focus on the difficulties in understanding English news. The crucial problem is the strategies of translating English news. Thus, this paper will finally pay heed to the strategies.
