Abstract:We explore the recruitment and selection of knowledge workers in organizations all the basis of a proposed taxonomy of performance which focus on three dimensions as the most critical performance factors for knowledge-based competition--building and applying knowledge, sharing knowledge and maintaining knowledge. This state of affairs has significant implications for the design and implementation of recruiting strategies that are targeted to attracting knowledge workers for knowledge-based competition.………………
