Abstract
This paper introduces the research background and theory of English major students autonomous learning in new college and autonomous capacity(Shandong Youth University of Political science), analyses current English professional of students’ autonomous learning in English based on questionnaire. In the light of constructive learning theory, this article suggests some measures as how to develop the ability of English autonomous learning from the following aspects: raise the awareness of different roles of teacher and students, strengthen cooperative learning, create favorable autonomous learning environment and promote self-evaluation.
