随着社会经济的发展和全球化进程的加快，各国之间文化交流越来越密切。越来越多的西方名著被译成中文以方便国内学者的研究和读者的欣赏。本次翻译选择了爱尔兰作家帕特丽夏·斯坎伦的《倾尽我全部的爱》。该书以爱为主线，讲述了爱在家庭和亲情之间的调剂作用。本次翻译选择了《倾尽我全部的爱》一书中的第一到第五章节进行翻译。作者通过人物的情感，内心活动的描述，对人物形象进行整体的塑造，将这段家庭中的爱恨情仇呈现给读者。这五个章节主要描述布里奥妮意外发现了奶奶写给她的一封信，揭示了母亲的谎言，她伤心欲绝，迫切想要她的母亲告诉她真相以及母亲为什么要这么做。
INTRODUCTION
With the development of social economy and the rapid process of globalization, cultural communication among countries become more and more closely. In order to facilitate domestic scholar to study and the reader to appreciate, many western masterwork has been translated into Chinese. I choose Ireland’s writer Patricia Scanlan’s with all my love to do translation. This novel takes love as the key and tells love play a coordinating role in relative and kinship. I translate chapter one to five of this novel. The writer shows the love and hate between family members to the reader through describing personal character and mental activity. Those five chapters mainly narrate Briony find a letter from her grandmother unexpected. Then she find a big lie from her mother. She feel upset and want to know the truth of the whole things.
