Abstract:This translation report is based on a translation practice of Out and About London, a novel written by Thomas Burke. The novel reflects the social reality about London in the period of the First World War. Thomas Burke described his experiences and feelings to reveal the change of London. The author has some acquisition after translating the novel. This report consists of four parts: introduction, preparation before translation, difficulties in translation and conclusion.
