中文摘要：《诗经》被誉为中国文化的瑰宝，是一笔宝贵的人类文化遗产。它向我们展示了一幅幅古代人民劳作生活的生动画面。中国古典诗歌一直以来都被认为是形式美与精神美的完美结合。叠词作为语言的一种特殊词汇现象，在《诗经》中被广泛使用，更加增添了诗歌的音韵美、形象美、表达美。然而，一直以来叠词翻译都没有得到太多的重视，一些译者甚至在翻译过程直接删去了叠词。因此，在翻译过程中如何传达出诗歌的美感尤其是叠词的美感成了诗经翻译的重中之重。    本文阐述了诗经中叠词的定义，形式以及功能。大多数诗歌中的叠词是无法在英语中找到完全对等的翻译的。因此，对译者来说，叠词在诗经中所传达的独特的美感以及美学效果是翻译过程中的一大难题。许渊冲教授的“三美原则”意为音美，意美以及形美，它已经被广泛认为是诗歌翻译的一大准则。尽管中英语言存在着很大差异，译者在翻译过程中仍能从音美意美的角度再创诗歌中的美，并且同时最大程度得保证了译文的形式美。

本文旨在通过对《诗经》中叠词译例的分析，更进一步地在许渊冲教授“三美原则”的理论指导下探讨更好地翻译这些叠词的方法，并指出在这些方法的指导下，诗经中的叠词的翻译是可行的，可实践的。
