Abstract: The friendship between China and Britain is increasingly close, and more attention is paid to the cross-cultural communication. Many obstacles have appeared due to the huge cultural differences between the two countries. There are few researches about the influence of tea culture on cross-cultural communication, so this paper firstly compares Chinese and British tea culture, then describes the influence of tea culture on cross-cultural communication. With the method of comparative analysis and comprehensive analysis, the paper compares the Chinese and British tea culture history and tea utensils, analyzes the differences in tea culture. And discusses the significance of tea culture on intercultural communication.
