Abstract: Because of the differences between Chinese and foreigners in cultural differences and the way of thinking and expressions, there exist some problems that foreigners cannot really understand what is said about our culture the tourism translation. This paper focuses on four big problems in tourism English translation and illustrates with examples. Four strategies of translation are proposed to achieve the desired results and the communication purpose. In our translation we can try to put the source language into acceptable language to another country, and convey the culture information of our country.

摘要:由于中外文化和思维及表达方式上的不同,在旅游英语翻译中出常现各种让外国游客无法理解的问题。本文首先针对旅游英语翻译中的四个主要问题来进行分析并举例说明,然后提出四大翻译策略,使译文能够达到预期效果,起到沟通交流的目的。我们在翻译旅游内容时能尽量做到把一国的语言翻译成另一国相应的可接受的语言,真正向外国游客传达我国的文化信息。
