中文摘要:家庭教育相比学校教育和社会教育是最根本的教育,对于个人的成长,家庭的和谐和社会的发展,都有着十分重要的作用。本文选取《虎妈赞歌》为例,采用比较分析法,对比中美家庭教育在目标、内容、方式和教育结果等的不同,并分析造成这些不同的原因,如中美历史背景,文化取向和经济形态的不同;运用霍夫斯泰德的文化维度理论,对跨文化交际背景下的中美家庭教育进行反思与补充并尝试提出建设性的指导意见。笔者认为中国家庭采用中国传统严格的教育方法,对孩子的约束力和控制力都较强,而美国家庭鼓励孩子自由发展,追求较为平等的亲子关系。两者各有千秋,但也各有其不足。随着时代的快速发展,传统的家庭教育模式难以应付不断更新的现代教育模式。为了不断更新家庭教育,笔者认为应当重新审视中国的传统家庭教育,发扬其优秀的教育理念,也融合国外家庭教育的优势,以期中美家庭教育的进一步发展提供建设性的意见。
