Abstract
This thesis concentrates on exploring of the conception of love and marriage philosophy of The Prophet written by Khalil Gibran', as well as its influence on life details of human beings. The main body will be divided into two parts, dialectical marriage and dialectical love philosophy. As to love philosophy, there are three parts, including love and lust, love and length and love and money. As to marriage philosophy, here goes marriage and distance, marriage and faith, and marriage and education.
The first part of the thesis is introduction which talks about Author’s background to explore the reason leading to his unique writing style. Each part of the dialectical love focuses on the love between the lovers, the kinship between family members and pan-loving masses. Each part of the dialectical marriage concentrates on sexual relation of men and women. The thesis employs Khalil Gibran’s love letters, Nietzsche’ ambivalent philosophy, Stendhal’s works to gain the enlightenment from Gibran's masterpieces and reflects his unique comprehensive visual angle on humanity.
