Abstract:If there is someone who is unique in creativity and pioneering in the artistic in the novel, she must be Virginia Woolf. She not only abandoned the traditional writing methods of realistic novels in the 19th century, but also borrows the writing techniques of some traditional novel meanwhile. Finally she has her own writing style. In her work The Mark on the Wall, she gives full play to stream of consciousness, and used the writing techniques, such as free association, time montage, omniscient point of view and feminism. Meanwhile, to be a feminist writer in Britain, she always fights for the right to speak for women. And in this work The Mark on the Wall, she successfully delivered women's voice.
