Abstract:From the ancient times, wedding has been the most important thing in people’s whole life. People can have a good knowledge of human being’s history and better discuss the cultural similarities and differences between China and America. It helps us to pursue the common developing rules. With the development of economy, the two countries have a more frequent exchange in economy, politics and culture. In this paper, readers can better understand the wedding culture, the cultural pride and love for our motherland, the cultural vision, the cultural connotation to promote the cultural exchange and the awareness of it.
The world culture is rich and colorful, and different nationals have different cultures. From the angle of wedding culture, the paper mainly analyzes the wedding culture differences and the reasons which cause the wedding differences between China and America. Comparing the ancient and modern wedding customs，the place for wedding, dress, procedure, religion, value, education between China and America, people can better understand the international culture, strengthen their own cultural pride, identity, regulate their behavior and promote cultural exchange.

摘要:从古至今，婚礼是人伦之首，更重要的是人们可以通过缤纷灿烂的婚俗，更清楚地认识人类社会历史，探讨中西方文化存在的异同，寻求其共同发展的规律。随着中国经济的发展，中国和西方之间的经济，文化，政治交流日益频繁，中国和西方人民的合作与往来与日俱增。通过这篇论文的学习，希望对中美婚礼文化有一定的了解，由衷地产生对祖国及文化的自豪和热爱，扩展文化视野，丰富文化内涵，更好地促进两国间的文化交流，培养跨文化交流的意识。
世界文化丰富多彩，不同民族有不同的文化。本文主要从婚礼文化这个角度出发，探讨中美婚礼习俗差异及造成这些差异的原因。具体对中美古代，现代婚礼习俗，婚礼举行的地点，服装，仪式进行对比，探究两国宗教信仰，价值观，教育，进一步了解中美两国的文化，增强自身文化的自豪感，认同感，规范人们的行为，促进文化交流。
